Following their electrifying performance on the GRAMMY Awards, ® the Hollywood Vampires announce the first show of their 2016 tour, and first ever east coast performance, will take place at an award-winning destination resort casino in Upstate New York
Oneida Nation Homelands (February 16, 2016) – After their spectacular worldwide television debut on last night’s GRAMMY Awards®, The Hollywood Vampires with Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, and Joe Perry, announced today they will kick off their 2016 tour at Turning Stone Resort Casino on Tuesday, May 24 at 8:00 p.m. The show at Turning Stone Resort Casino, located in Upstate New York, will also mark the Hollywood Vampires’ east coast debut.
A super-group comprised of rock royalty and a Hollywood superstar, the Vampires will hit the stage at the Turning Stone Event Center, offering fans a non-stop, energetic rock concert like no other, performing their new single “As Bad As I Am” from their new deluxe album, as well as renditions of popular classics including “My Generation,” “Whole Lotta Love,” and a “School’s Out”/“Another Brick in the Wall” medley.
In 1969 on the Sunset Strip at a club called the Rainbow Bar & Grill, the Hollywood Vampires were born in the upstairs bar. It was a gathering place for the rock stars living in or passing through L.A. “To join the club, one simply had to out drink all of the members,” says Alice Cooper, a founding member of the original Vampires.
Cooper and good friend Johnny Depp got together and decided the spirit of the Hollywood Vampires should live again (minus the drinking). Cooper and Depp were joined by Joe Perry, who is an old friend of both, and the recording began: a tribute to the original Hollywood Vampires. An environment was born for great artists to hang, laugh and play together.
Host of this epic performance, Turning Stone Resort Casino, owned by the Oneida Indian Nation, is a 3,400 acre award-winning destination resort, offering world-class amenities including four hotels, 21 restaurants and dining options, two luxurious spas, 1,200 square foot Las Vegas style gaming floor, five picturesque golf courses, and several bars, cocktail lounges and nightlife venues. From iconic performers, to the world’s most-watched sporting events, Turning Stone is no stranger to hosting legendary entertainment and concerts, rivaling those found in major cities around the world.
Tickets for The Hollywood Vampires’ May 24th kick-off performance at Turning Stone Resort Casino go on sale February 23 at 10:00 a.m. ET for $64, $69 and $74 and can be purchased in person at the Turning Stone Box Office, online through Ticketmaster, or by calling 877.833.SHOW.
